-Well he broke the leg a few more times - had some more surgeries. He's a crazy crazy dog and no one knows how he's breaking. Currently he's on his last chance. His last surgery was about 8 hours. The vet wired up his leg and put 5 pins all the way through his leg, then the cast around it. He has 14 days in a cage - (which is up on Monday) then xrays and we'll see if this leg is actually salvagable!

The vet is AMAZINGLY nice. She's still doing all the rest of his work for free.

Harley is our 2 year old Pug that we recently adopted from a woman who had to go into a nursing home and was unable to take Harley with her.

When he had his visit to the Vet we found out he needs to have patella surgery. This is common birth defect with pugs. Harley has Grade 3 Luxating Patellas in both his hind legs. He needs to have surgery soon before his knees get to bad and he's unable to walk. When he gets his surgery the Vet says he should live a long and happy life (without knee problems). We're hoping that you might like to donate to our Harley fund to help us save up the $1500 for his surgery! I scanned our estimate into the photo section of this site if you'd like to see the cost estimate from the Vet. We still have a ways to go! So please help by donating a small amount or passing the link to this webpage along.

If we happen to raise more then the cost of Harley's surgery - it will be donated to the Waukesha Wisconsin Humane Society .
